Christmas Holly

Ingredients:

• 1 stick butter or oleo
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 5 cups Post Toasties cereal
• 36 large marshmallows
• 1 teaspoon green food coloring
• Red hots (for decoration)

Instructions:

1. Melt the Mixture: In a large saucepan, melt the butter (or oleo) over low heat. Once melted, add the large marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

2. Add Flavor and Color: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.

3. Mix in Cereal: Gently fold in the Post Toasties cereal, mixing until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.

4. Drop onto Wax Paper: Using a teaspoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper, forming small mounds.

5. Decorate: While the mixture is still warm, place three red hots on top of each mound for decoration.

6. Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool completely before serving.
