Applebee's Baby Back Ribs

Here’s a version of the baby back ribs recipe with barbecue sauce:
Ingredients
- For the Ribs:
- 3 racks (about one lb. each) of pork baby back ribs, each cut in half
- For the Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Prepare the Ribs:
- Place the ribs in a large pot and add enough water to cover them.
- Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour or until the ribs are fork-tender.
Make the Barbecue Sauce:
- Mix the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, dark brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered, stirring often, for about 30 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Broil the Ribs:
- Preheat the broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil for easy cleanup.
- Place the ribs and meat side down on the broiler pan. Brush with half of the barbecue sauce.
- Broil the ribs 4-5 inches from the heat source for 6 to 7 minutes.
- Turn the ribs over, brush with the remaining sauce, and broil for 6 to 7 minutes, or until the edges are slightly charred.
Serving
- Serve the ribs hot with extra barbecue sauce on the side, if desired.
Enjoy your delicious baby back ribs!
