Christmas Trees

Ingredients:

• 3 tablespoons margarine
• 32 large marshmallows
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon green food coloring
• 4 cups Cheerios
• Small gumdrops, sliced (for decoration)

Instructions:

1. Melt Ingredients: In a saucepan, melt the margarine and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.

2. Add Flavor and Color: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.

3. Combine with Cereal: In a large bowl, pour the melted mixture over the Cheerios. Mix well to ensure all the cereal is coated.

4. Shape Trees: While the mixture is still warm, use buttered hands to shape about 2/3 cup of the mixture into Christmas tree shapes on waxed paper.

5. Decorate: Decorate the trees with sliced gumdrops to represent ornaments. You can also add paper stars on top for a festive touch.

6. Cool: Allow the trees to stand until they cool and set.
