CHRISTMAS HOLLY
Ingredients:
- 1/4 stick butter or oleo (equivalent to 2 tablespoons)
- 1 package regular marshmallows (10 oz)
- 1 teaspoon green food coloring
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Red-coated cinnamon candies (for decoration)
Instructions:

Melt the Mixture: Melt the butter (or oleo) in a saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are completely melted. Be careful not to let the mixture burn.

Add Color and Flavor: Remove the saucepan from the heat once the marshmallows are melted. Stir in the green food coloring and almond extract until well combined and the mixture is evenly colored.

Drop onto Wax Paper: Using a teaspoon, drop spoonfuls of the marshmallow mixture onto a sheet of wax paper, forming small mounds.

Add Cinnamon Candies: While the mixture is still warm, gently press a red-coated cinnamon candy into the center of each mound.

Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool completely on the wax paper until they firm up.
