Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks), softened
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add Flavorings: Mix in the vanilla extract and water until well combined.
